Stretch as far as you can downwards until you are able to rest your left hand on the inside of your thigh while your right hand is pointing upwards. Then slowly turn your head to your right while deeply inhaling. As you go back to you original position, take deep breaths. Repeat the same process for the other side of your body.

The next exercise is the Sukhasana. This exercise will promote appropriate breathing control at the same time toning the lower back and hips which will help in releasing tension on the cartilages as well. To do this exercise, sit on the floor with you legs crossed. Rest your hands on your knees and make sure that your spine is aligned as you push your buttocks down while slowly lowering your knees.

Make sure that your breathing is paced and deep. When inhaling deeply, raise your hands over your head after taking deep breaths five times. Bit by bit bring your arms down while exhaling. Do this for at least 5 to 7 times. Lastly, perform the cobra or the Bhujangsana exercise. Lie on your tummy and keep your legs as one while keeping your arms close to your side by your torso.

The World Health Organization (WHO) created World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) in 1987 as a way to bring worldwide attention to the tobacco epidemic we’re up against on the planet today. Van Fan- A New Reborn Star

Van Fan started his singing career as a pub singer in Taichung. Under the roster of famous entertainment producer Zhang Xiao-Yen, Fan had always been one of her favorites. His debut album released in 2001 was an instant success, featuring the title track “I Believe” from a Korean’s movie “My Sassy Girl”.

However, his career went down the drain in 2004 when he was caught by paparazzi getting drunk, kissing his girlfriend and urinating on the street. He was condemned by this incident.

Fan than took time off the screen to reflect on his past mistake and is role of being a public figure. He gave himself the chance to search his soul, grow out of the idol image and become a more mature artiste by taking up various acting roles in theater, TV and movie.

This year Fan took his debut lead role in the highly acclaimed movie “Cape No.7”. In the movie, Fan took up the role of Aga, a struggling young Hengchun-native rock band singer who could not find success in Taipei and returned to his hometown to become a postman. Although the movie only attracted moderate box-office success during its first week of release, with word of mouth, it eventually attracted widespread popularity in Taiwan and has become the highest grossing film produced on the island.

Fan has not forgotten his love for singing. Following the success of the movie, Fan released a new album “Wu Le Bu Zuo” which comprised of old and new hits, so that his fans can have a taste of the different sides of Van Fan. Fan is also planning to have his debut concert in end of this year.

Facebook Changes Bring Complaints

Recently Facebook users have been gradually upgraded to a new layout for the fast-growing social network site. The company’s goals are twofold:

First, simplify and expand the tools to manage the ever-increasing volume of friends’ messages, links, photos and videos. Second, experiment with new forms of advertising. The overwhelming reaction from users is, “Ugh, you changed it!”

Just as newspaper readers are infuriated whenever their daily fish-wrap updates its layout, Facebook’s changes have brought down a hail of complaints from both light and heavy users.

The new design simplifies the layout of members’ profile pages. It seems unabashedly influenced by Twitter. A single column of updates, newest at the top. To the right of this stream runs a strip of “Highlights” that mixes ads with suggested Facebook groups, applications, video clips and potential friends. Needless to say, not everyone likes it.

No.1 gripe was that Facebook no longer let users delete their own status updates. Making these often hastily typed messages permanent would turn every ephemeral whim into a potential tombstone of humiliation.

But still have a good news for Facebook users: You can indeed delete your status updates. On Facebook, go to your profile page. Find the embarrassng post. Position your mouse cursor over it, and a faint blue X will appear in the entry’s uper right corner. Click the X to make the post and any attached comments from other Facebook members disappear forever. -NYT
